Will the basketball gods let this team develop properly so they can unleash their potential for 2020 (maybe even 2019)?
fukk the basketball gods, they abandoned us. We taking our destiny in our own hands
Rachel Nichols was on Zach Lowe podcast talking about why KD might come to the Knicks.
-one upping LeBron’s move to LA
- KD's manager, Rich Kleiman has ties to the Knicks
- Durant not being satisfied in Golden State
- Warriors brass unsure if Durant wants to remain there and were even concerned he would leave this offseason
- Opportunity for KD to fix his image
- Return of the Mecca
- Scott Perry's ties to Durant when he was working for Sonics when KD was drafted there
It’s my basketball dream to see Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant team up, pure fukking buckets.

Having to guard Kanter in low post every practice will help him a lot.Let's be real about Mitch Robinson. He just overwhelmed a team and he is SUPER raw. Like dude's footwork is made up for by how fast and agile he moves them. He gets caught out there on positioning, sometimes he overcorrects too; but his instincts and ability to read and react to the play on the floor is bonkers so he gets away with it. He needs work on his screen setting, but he dives hard and his athleticism makes him such a threat that it still gets him buckets on the roll. He's skinny too fam; he's winning rebound battles strictly off of ALWAYS going after the ball.
That performance yesterday is scary when you consider it's a lot more natural ability than polished game. You can surmise that he hasn't been playing competitively or at least not for long and yet he owned the inside. Fiz has to work hard though, bad habits can develop when things come easy to you (though I think once they get to the preseason and regular season, he'll NEED to improve some of the technical aspects to keep it up). 4 years of polish at a sweetheart deal; we got one of the steals of the draft.
Damn, I was thinking the same thing. The basketball gods replied quickly with a
