How David Fizdale has forged relationships in first few...
I was able to get a peak at an excerpt from this article and it's really got me excited to see how Fiz and these kids develop.

I remember seeing a breakdown that mentioned the Grizz improved around the basket thanks to Fiz and it honed in on Conley. If he can get that success with these kids, especially Mudiay who can get inside at will but just doesn't know what to do there; the payoff will be pretty damned big. Teaching these cats to take ownership over their careers and development, as well as developing "the man" rather than just the player is something I look forward to seeing. Summer league should be a lot of fun because these guys will have been playing together for a while and I hope to see some chemistry that the typical throw together summer league roster lacks (usually just guys chasing a contract and trying to do too much).
You wouldn’t happen to have the full article?

I don't unfortunately. I'm debating whether or not to pick up a subscription from either the athletic or cleaning the glass so I can get some of these paywalled articles fully...leaning toward cleaning the glass though because you can also get advanced stats that are on some next ish.

If you set up some type of way where I could donate some bread to you, I'll cover half the cost if you're willing to post article content for us.

It's a win-win - The Knicks thread gets the content and the writers have their hard work seen by more people.

Let me know, I'll help on behalf of my fellow Knick brehs. :salute:

Sources: Kanter leans toward opt-in with Knicks

This fukkin clown, just leave already. Players like him don't deserve "players option", that should be left for allstars and above.
I feel you.

That being said, I think he will have an allstar year & his expiring contract and/or his ability to provide elite rebounding & above average offence may have some playoff teams looking to trade for him by the half.

I do wish he opted out, though.

I like to claim rights to being Kanter's biggest hater dating back to the first game of last preseason essentially...but on the bright side; that boy Mitchell Robinson having to defend Kanter every day in practice could be a nice developmental gift. As much as I hate the guy, he's a handful in the post and if you can guard him there than you can guard most post-up bigs.

No donations necessary fam, I been wanting to cop this and the plan would definitely be to go Skooby's ESPN Insider thread with it where if yall wanna see some content, I share the goods. My only request would be yall share the odd Medium article drop that I put up about the Knicks from time to time .

@storyteller Agreed on Kanter.

What's crazy is, for Mitchell, even w/ disregarding the scrimmages, mentally, Kanter & Noah seem like great guys to help the kid grow as a professional & feel comfortable in NYC.

O'Quinn would be great to have around for Mitchell as well.

I kind of wish a Jarret Jack type would be year next year as a guard to further help mentoring our young guys.

If he wins us games I’m gonna be even more pissed.

Welp, :francis:

On the bright side, that all but eliminates the chance/opportunity for the Knicks to do something financially stupid this offseason :yeshrug:

Remember, we almost made it thru last offseason unscathed untill Mills outbid himself for the services of THJr, albeit to be fair Perry wasn't here yet :ld:

I think Timmy will improve back to his Atlanta ways. I think it was the piss poor coaching that made this team a lot worse. I think Frank would've developed a lot better, had he been given more minutes.
