But make smart veteran complimentary signings. Don’t reach for Randle on a large contract. There’s plenty of PF’s available for cheaper and who are more complimentary to the young guys we have.

There's no one to compliment though. The hope was to make the youngins compliments to big FAs. With that out the window we need talent and getting Randld for 2 years, with the next big window being 2 years away works. We have a lob threat, some guard play and now a safety valve down low. I'm not happy about this, but if we can get D'Lo I'll be very optimistic about these next 2 years and now the team develops as a young core.

Breh, Randle is a black hole down low and doesn’t space the floor well. He plays for numbers and is foul prone. He often makes boneheaded turnovers pushing the ball as a point forward and doing entirely too much and just barreling into people for offensive fouls. He has an inconsistent defensive motor and a minus wingspan.

Our best shooter here is Knox who shot 34% from 3 last season. This looks like a bottom offense and defense again and one of the very worst shooting teams in volume and efficiency. Please tell me how Randle being our leading scorer really moves the needle for us at all as a team going forward. He can get 20/10/4 but does it matter?

Exactly. Aint enough talent on the Knicks right now to let "fit" be the biggest concern. The Knicks need to worry getting guys who can play. They just cant go into next season with the same team, ready to lose mad games; being constantly overmatched and losing most of the time just makes it harder for the young guys on the team to develop.
