I grew up a Mets fan hating the Yankees for always getting star players, but hey, its a Yankee town so fine and you deal with it and root for your underdogs.

I grew up a Knicks fan and whether it was Jersey or Brooklyn it didn't matter, because for once, I was rooting for the team that owned the town and knew there was nothing that other team could do about it.

I stopped watching baseball because it just got boring for me. I stopped watching football with Kaep. I keep watching basketball because it's the only sport I truly love.

How the fukk did the Nets back into 2 max slots and get the 2 guys rumored for the Knicks all year long? I don't give a fukk about rumors, HOW? They are ONE YEAR REMOVED from a sub 30 win season. They have ONE good year after fukk up after fukk up and FAs are coming to them because the Knicks are seen as the trash organization?

I wouldn't give a shyt if KD went to the Clippers, Lakers, stayed with the Warriors, did anything else. Kyrie? Never fukking wanted him here. But BOTH to the fukkING NETS?

Jesus fukking Christ this team is legit cursed. I have to believe that this will come back around and turn out for the best but Jesus fukking Christ this team can't get even a second of fukking hope.

Knicks have a extremely negative reputation. Where as the nets have a rags to riches kind of story. Case in point

Nets truly made a comeup from being in a truly terrible situation coming to NY while the Knicks were still a team that were in playoff contention, to atleast being a playoff team. Those who want to come to NY also see BRK doesn’t have all the craziness that follows the Knicks either. That along with BK culture, Jay, Big. History. It makes sense to want to be in Brooklyn if you are trying to win in NY.

Where as with the Knicks, they have to show people they can be something. All these stories of “promise”. Man knicks have said a lot of shyt over the years, only to be horrible. Only reason Lakers got away with their foolishness over the years is cause of the championships and their players legacy. Through time knicks with be great again, but they have to show and proof

That's just what it is for me. I can understand plenty of other teams, I don't get why it's the NETS specifically.

You cross your fingers for Kawhi, knowing he won't come, because he's the prototype for the kind of guy they've described as wanting all season long, but after that, there is a LOT for this organization to consider when the little brother team is the one attracting free agents. Doesn't matter that KD may not come back the same, doesn't matter that Kyrie is a headcase, these are major stars turning us down in favor of the fukking Nets. They gotta fix that shyt and they got a year to do it before the blow outs in these subway games go fukking next level.
