My first time watching RJ speak was when he was on first take. I saw pride in him that was possibly covering up some insecurities i suspected. It made me question what type of players he'll be when under pressure. I questioned his character
I look to Kawhi as the elite example of great character. He doesnt make himself bigger then the team. His calm demeanor brings out the best in his teammates, many said Lowry looked unrecognizable often in the playoffs. He has as good of an approach as there you will find.
What Giannis said after losing to the Raptors also is an excellent example of great character and being humble
Examples of poor character would be obviously Wristflaps and Kyrie. Selfish players that are delusional in thinking they are good leaders, blinded by their pride. It is better to be humble because pride gives you the opposite of Max Kellermans eyes
Seeing Barrett and his father changed my opinion. Hes blessed to have a great father. I now think that RJ is just a little immature and theres nothing wrong with that. He is only 19 but he works hard and hes aggressive on offense. His character I don't think will be a problem at all. I think hes a good kid that genuinely wants to be as great as he can be and picking anyone else would have been a mistake
We have a great group of players in terms of character. Mitch is a great young breh thats easy going and has a great attitude. I met Kornet after a game and could instantly see he was a man of great character. Frank has a great attitude and work ethic. Dotson as well, cant wait to see us next year and watch the youth develop before our eyes
