I'm glad it was the Lakers and not the Knicks making a trade like that on this one. It has a chance to be an absolute home run for them because Lebron is there, we didn't have the talent to risk so much.
On Memphis drafting Barrett, my peace of mind is that he didn't work out for them. If they pick him, it's off of only an interview, so props to the GM with the balls to take that risk. But if we drafted Morant 3? I'd be upset. I'd rather draft Garland if we're picking a PG...and honestly, why not just see what you can make of DSJ for another year of development if you want a hyper athletic PG who can pass well? He's got more size, a further along jumper and showed signs of life on defense.

Like I said after we lost the first pick to the NO. I’m not optimistic about Knicks getting any big time FA and we should put our focus on rebuilding and development. I trust the Knicks front office and like the direction they are heading. Look what Lakers had to give up to get a guy who can’t stay healthy on the court. Imagine if the Knicks did that? It’ll be 2010 all over again.
