Imagine signing a rehabbing Durant (I wouldn't have a big problem with that.)

But then still being so thirsty to get AD that we gut the team for him:mjlol:

That would be the dumbest shyt ever.

Locking Durant up would probably force us to be conservative regarding trades because next year would definitely NOT be a contending year.

And it would allow us to continue developing RJ, Mitch and the others.

And then use the cap space to sign brehs who would be ready to play with a healthy Durant

I think that the Knicks should sign KD to the max, let the RJ and the other young guys play, and just build the team around KD. Then, in the 2020 free agency, sign Anthony Davis and boom, the Knicks have a promising 2020-2021 season.

Especially if KD returns from his Achilles injury like Dominique Wilkins did (which he certainly can).

fukk life in the short-term but wouldn't be terrible in the long run. Possibly get another top 5 pick next year, have Barrett and another top 5 pick, with a returning KD and newly signed AD, while keeping all the youth for 20/21.

Thats a level of dedication and trust and patience that could pay dividends but fukkING SUCKS as a fan that was all in on 2019.

What are the Knicks planning on doing with DSJ and Frank Nicotine once Kemba sign with the team?

Don't need to worry about that, looks like we're completely out of AD sweepstakes according to the reports.
