The only reason the Knicks would pursue an AD trade is because they're getting the green light from another star, just like AD has no incentive to have the Knicks on his list with LA & Bron unless he knows who he's playing with.

NO needs to focus on youth and having the benefit of bird rights, not trading for an All Star that won't want to be there. Build depth and youth and see if they can make a Warriors dynasty down the road not be a treadmill team. No one is gonna sign as FAs, at least with your own restricted FAs you can try to control them and convince them all to stay as a collective. Dead ass, all bias aside, I think that would be in their best interest instead of trying to have a star player they're gonna piss off, AGAIN.

Idk, that trade looks too complicated to pull of to me even before considering the price (4 first round picks RJ Barrett as one of them + Knox and Frank). Unless the Knicks are REALLY confident about one of these FA's, I could see them staying the course. Perry and Mills have been super thorough in every damned move so far. We can at least expect competence. I don't think they'll do something rash, that's not how these guys move.
