Facts, Shai was not trash at all. He was considered the best player in Kentucky and Knox was the one with the most potential.

I watched Shai he was trash by Kentucky PG standards

Ryan Harrow was better

But shai showed flashes of potential and just needed better players around him and a diff system

-The Knicks have a top 3 pick
-All of their 1st round picks moving forward
-2 of Dallas’s first round picks moving forward
-No bad contracts on the roster
-Enough cap space for 2 max contracts
-A Coach players around the league like
-A functional front office with Mills and Perry
-Attention and interest from the NBA’s best players.
-Young developing players under contract
-And Mitchell Robinson

:ehh:

Also another really good thing is we know we’re going to get Dallas pick in two and four years. Plus they really needed to add rookie talent this year cause their cap is about to be fukked. Without it they are going to be over the cap limit to keep KP but prior to that they have to fill holes at 3 starter spots.

:jbhmm:
Yep.

Perry and Mills said that they were going to clean house and build a young core and they are doing it right now.

No panic moves. No nuttiness. No Bullcrap. And especially no bad contracts.

The front office finally has a plan and is sticking to it, unlike the morons in the media that keep running that same narrative.

Now, all we have to do is wait for free agency.

:manny: I’ll throw in my 0.02¢ in. I’ll be honest. Me personally, I don’t know what the FO should do breh. BUT - I would draft that nikka RJ OR trade the pick+French fakkit+fillers (not Mitch, tho) on draft night for AD or trade down for expiring contracts+future draft picks.

:damn: As far as FA - if we strike out on nikkas like KD, Kawhi, Klay, Kyrie - we should stay put and ONLY take on expiring contracts for draft picks and/or sign one year deals.

:damn: Do the right thing, FO! Please!

:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:

This where I'm at. If they get AD, then KD joins him; I think that's where it starts. If the Knicks don't get AD then draft RJ or fall back and gain picks.

Just my opinion on Cam, he gives me that Allan Houston vibe - low key but big impact when shots hitting; and Cams feetwork is almost on par with H20 when it comes to getting that shot off. Cam also gives you perimeter defense. I wouldn't be mad if Knicks traded back to get more assets and ended up drafting Cam.
