Totally get this - Great Escape is a AOTY contender for me but I have to be in the mood to listen to it.

Good points regarding mainstream push - I think they’ve put this together knowing that Larry’s profile has increased a lot since their last project and Cardo already knows how to get high profile placements with people like Drake, Kendrick, H.E.R, etc - it has a good balance of being able to appeal to a mainstream audience but still staying with the sound that the core fans like.

I actually fukk with won’t wait lol

"won't wait" has no need for any censorship or bleeps, theres a chorus and a bridge and its right under 3 minutes.
everything about it was cooked up perfectly for radio/top40 urban and mainstream appeal.
While I understand some may not like this "pop/hollywood" angle I applaud their strategy/approach as it doesn't sound strained or forced.

Two completely different sounds! Alchemist even rode a cardo beat this go around! Chemistry between these two are magical. They mesh perfectly!
