- Orange Village almost feels like some Dilla shyt
- The joint with Evidence reminds me of the title track off Elephant Man's Bones but with drums
- Art Talk beat is crazy and experimental. Took me a second to catch the pocket when the drums came in
- There's a lot of Yacht Rock style beats on here like I expected
- I think Jay Worthy got better
- Breakfast in Monaco definitely doesn't fit super well on here like they said

I think this is a fair take.

I fukk with June a lot and I think he makes dope music, and I care about overall music more than doper rapping...but that being said, yeah I agree that he did pretty much get out-rapped by every feature here. I really liked his flow on Turkish Cotton. That was different than a lot of his flows I've heard.

Really enjoyed the album on one listen.

Favorite half dozen joints on 1st listen are probably Margie's Candy House, Art Talk, Left No Evidence, Orange Village, 89 Earthquake, and Ocean Sounds.

Facts.

You get a whole project with Al, you kinda don’t have to say much. We're all vibing to the production, lol.

Thing is, it only gets exposed when other MC's hop on a track with you and they go CRAZY for 16 bars. Dudes showed out on this one. Boldy, Sean, Evidence, etc. They ain't come to play. So when you hear dudes rocking like that, and June is still doing the same June sh*t, it definitely stands out, lol. Dude is great to vibe out to, since way back, but with a project produced entirely by Al, it makes the music even better. So I'm supporting regardless, but I ain't gonna lie and act like he ain't just coasting on these joints. Dude is on his laid-back hammock sh*t again.

I've been f*cking with dude's music since day one. I know what he's there for.

Doesn't mean he's not being outrapped. It's not a slight. Just calling it how it usually is.

Some of these features don't add anything to the songs. Like Big Sean & Bronson didn't need to be there. Yeah they rappin, but they ain't helping.

Yeah, Boldy had 32 bars on this shyt, and I think Ev had 20 too. The Ev joint was slower tempo though so maybe it was just a long 16. But I ran the Boldy verse back and counted and it was a strong 32.

Yeah I forgot about the Sean Verse too because I skipped it on this first listen tonight. Ran the single so many times. That Sean verse was at least 24 bars.

I don’t even like Sean's music anymore, but I think he was a dope addition to this joint. He sounded refreshed again.

Bronson, not so much, lol.

They showed OUT!

Hearing Boldy like that again, made me want another proejct with him and Uncle Al. Immediately.

And a couple of the features felt like it was their songs IMO. The Boldy joint and the Ev joint in particular.

Another couple features I haven't seen posted about yet are Joey and Spitta. They came to put it down too.

Bronson really ain't got shyt to rap about. Dude pulled up Sopranos season 3 and wrote a verse :dead:

The whole HBO Max. He had this episode of Curb in there too
