Larry June raps like your washed uncle who hasn't taken off his Adidas tracksuit since 1986

He doesn't rap nothing like Curren$y. Those comparisons come from his beat selection, they kinda dress the same and the laid back playa demeanor.

I think his catalog is better than DK too :yeshrug:
:whoa: Slow down,
Dom fell off but the Yellow album is at a height I don't think Larry can reach. FTWWL 1 & 2 were grade A projects also.

Larry’s music saved my quarantine.
Helped me to stay focused and keep a positive and productive mindset. Especially his 2019/2020 projects.
To this day I still listen to him in the morning doing regular shyt like preparing breakfast or riding around the city.

With that being said, his last verses been sounding kinda lazy and uninspired. I hope he gets back on track with Orange Print.

edit: Here’s a spotify playlist I made with a selection of his best tracks if anyone’s interested: Good Job Larry

That seven alum run was really something special:whew:

And yeah, he makes great music for when doing work around the house

(In order of my favorite projects. Mr Midnight is probably the best to start with for the unfamiliar though)

yellow album is one of the greatest west coast albums ever! With that said Larry is much more consistent than dom. Again cardo is the key ingredient in both of these stories

You just gotta be at a certain point in life and understanding to vibe with Larry. I agree with everyone that his las couple haven’t been wack but not of the Mr Midnight Out The Trunk quality.
I came to that same conclusion when I tried to put some of my young nikkas onto Larry. They all under 25 and only 2/6 actually fukk wit him musically. :manny:

:mjtf: Nah not even close. Dom Yellow album coming off “1997” single was run of the hottest runs we have ever since on a street level. Dom was mr summer for a very good reason.
Yellow album needs to be on dsps
If it would have dropped in 2010 he would have been on wiz level

Exactly!!!! That album was that huge. Seriously I remember the summer like it was yesterday. It wasn’t even a official release and everyone locally and online was going nuts over that album. Masterfully put together.

I deadass became friends with another woman in my complex because she was playing Larry June. Between being a woman and on the east coast, I didn’t expect that. Come to find out we have the same music tastes. Larry brought me a new friend, good job Larry :mjcry:
I’d be :dwillhuh: if I heard Larry june in DC.
