After what he's achieved he deserves it, it's not like he's not on a win streak and thank goodness Coker has his feet on the ground and knows the unpredictability of mma and isn't putting him in a random fight where bendo/bellator have everything to lose.





Ps last night fight between kimbo/Dada was bad but worst ever? That would be saying you entered into this fight thinking you were getting 2 mma fighters in peak physical condition which would be stupid. That infamous kalib starnes fight was worse than this hell I think kos/Sanchez was more boring than this, mma community are so fish brained how many times does kimbo have to shyt the bed before you stop buying into the nonsense. He is who he has always been a scrub that ain't even much of a brawler by the looks of it

I can understand Dada getting gassed that quickly.

Seeing Kimbo gas that quickly was disappointing. Yeah he's 42 years old, but he's been in professional fighting in some way (whether mma or boxing) for 9 years now. He's a full time fighter. I believe he does some work for reality kings on the side as far as security, but nothing to interfere with his training. Kimbo weighed in at 232, which is a good weight for him.

No sense in over analyzing a money move though. :yeshrug:

Bellator should be able to get at least one more fight out of Kimbo.

:patrice:@ MMA though. You shouldn't have guys on national tv fighting that are over 40 years old unless they have proven they can still fight at an extremely high level.

There have been more boring fights obviously. How can a fight be the most boring when it literally brought me to tears with laughter multiple times?
But that was without a doubt the worst fight I've ever seen on national television. Kimbo gassed within half a round from sitting in mount. Think about that. He sat in mount for a couple minutes, attempted no discernible offense and looked as if he had ran a marathon when he stood. From there on, it was two completely exhausted guys moving around tremendously slowly and sometimes doing things. Mostly they took turns leaning on each other and the cage cause they could barely stand on their own. They threw their arms forward at each other from time to time, resembling something that could perhaps be called 'punching'. But I struggle to actually call movements so slow and with so little force behind them actual punches. I mean, the winner was decided cause one of them just collapsed out of exhaustion.
Never, have I seen such a low level of skill and fitness displayed by both competitors in a nationally televised fight.
