Here's the thing, even before Draymond started and Iggy was on the roster, Steph was leading the team to wins over the 2014 Spurs.

I just don't think Steph's roster is even at the minimum level a star needs to win games. Also it doesn't help that Kerr is still running this team like it's the Strength and Numbers Warriors.
You’re forgetting he had the superstar David lee on that roster in 2014 :troll:

It's gotta be disheartening going from non-stop winning for half a decade to getting destroyed and embarrassed on a nightly basis. If this continues I could see Draymond at the very least wanting out.

Warriors aren't championship contenders but they got enough talent to compete for the 8th seed... the fact that they can't even really be competitive against anybody except arguably the two worst teams in basketball is unacceptable when you literally have the only player in the history of the nba to win a unanimous mvp...

I do agree that Kerr is also getting exposed as a shyt coach...but I believe that everyone kind of knows that Kerr is more of an ego managing coach and NOT AT ALL a strategy and X and O's coach...and with KD gone, Klay hurt, Draymond being humbled and mellowed out now...there is no ego to manage.

Another major problem for them is they have been hilariously bad in the draft...you look at the warriors draft picks over the last 5 years and who did they hit on exactly ? Poole and Paschall are nba caliber players but other than that it's not good. When you winning titles you picking at the bottom of the draft so you got to hit on those picks and the Warriors very obviously did not. Pretty wild that the spurs hit so many times on those picks for over 20 years but the warriors couldn't hit on them for 5...

Off the top of my head the only guy I can think of that they drafted in the last 5 years and he made it pass his rookie contract with them is Looney and they pretty obviously drafted his replacement with Wiseman...
I think Kerr is getting exposed more in regards of not adapting to his personnel. I’d argue he’s good with X and O’s at least from an offensive standpoint but he has a roster that doesn’t have the collective basketball IQ to execute those plays during games. Instead of dumbing it down he’s just letting them learn on the go and hoping in 20-25 games together it’ll look better.

He should just run high pick and roll with Curry and Wiseman 40 times a game and call it a day :francis:

He playin like some shyt. And Kerr ain't even trying to adjust the offense continuing to let these bum ass nikkaz who can't shoot, shoot. :mjlol:

He still drawing attention for whatever reason, but nobody scared of Oubre, Paschal, Tostado or whatever the fukk his name is. Weedplate trying the last few games, but Oubre stealing money. That nikka shooting like Stevie Wonder.

Kerr gonna have to change the offense, but he won't. Dem nikkaz can't shoot. And nobody scared of anyone on that roster shooting outside of Steph who is the only one who can free nikkaz up to shoot by drawing attention for the kickout. shyt is comical.

They betta get it together. Lacob can't be happy with this shyt.

Kerr needs to use Wiseman more. He the only other nikka with talent who can do something offensively outside of Steph. I'd say Weedplate, but you don't know if he's gonna go on a weed streak.

:mjlol:

Still remember people hyping up them getting Oubre:mjlol: The way people talked I thought he was going to unzip his body and Kevin Durant was going to crawl out :mjlol:

Obviously Oubre isn't as bad as he is playing but it aint like he got a all star level he can get to either :mjlol:

Get the fukk out of here with that trash ass take.. talking about dude ain’t good enough at basketball when the likes of Bron, KD and Westbrook attended Steph college game.. The same Steph that took a bunch of scrubs at Davidson to the elite 8 and was a shot away from being in the final 4... fukk off dude

So many guards play similar to steph now...it has watered his game down...

He was the first guard to come off a screen and just pull up and shoot a 3 like it was nothing...now every no name guard in the nba will shoot that shot

He was the first guard to pull up 2 or 3 steps past halfcourt if you didn't press him...Dame literally bounced the Thunder out the playoffs with that shot...

Steph has never been a guy who really attacks the rim so he not going to get to the line...if you can stay with him from halfcourt to the free throw line you going to be alright...

Like I said in another thread...he is just another guard who had a great 5 year run...maybe the greatest 5 year run ever since he got 2 mvp's and 3 titles out of it...but lots of guards before him and after him will have great 5 year runs so...meh :ehh:

People have always talked about how much better Steph is than Westbrook yet Westbrook carried OKC to at the least the first round of the playoffs as the lone superstar on his team...don't seem like Steph is going to be able to do that...

Steph was always playing on easy mode...Klay always took the other best perimeter player on defense...Draymond actually ran a ton of the offense...Iggy was a swiss army knife and just about always came through in the clutch no matter if it was hitting a 3 or getting a rebound or getting a stop or making a great pass...once KD was there forget it Steph could really just stand around and wait for the ball to find him...but shyt get different when all that is gone and you got to create your own shot from nothing AND you got to create shots for other people AND you got to be the guy who gets to the line AND you going to have to play some real defense on somebody cause Andrew Wiggins and Oubre sure as shyt aren't and Draymond is old and washed now...

Dude just isn't good enough at basketball to have to do all that shyt night in and night out and be able to get a W more often than not...

No shame in that...there are only maybe 5 guys who can...and Steph is clearly not one of them...

He's their only threat from deep. It's much easier to hedge and trap him around the 3 point line when nobody else makes the defense pay
This!!!

Warriors should have tried to make a move when the Rockets first made Harden available. I would have offered them Weedplate and either Draymond or Wiseman. They might have had to throw a rotational guy on an expiring contract or something to make the deal work.

The Rockets aren't going to get a better deal than that so they might have pulled this trigger on it.

Steph isn't a guy that can carry a team not specifically built to his strengths. His game is predicated on spacing and coming off screens, he's not overly athletic either, so if there is no one else there to knock down shots you can trap and throw doubles at him all day long. He's a smaller guard and that works against him too.

You had to go all the way back to Davidson though :mjlol:

The last time steph "took a bunch of scrubs" somewhere was 10 years ago :mjlol:

A lot can change in 10 years you know :mjlol:

Breh even when KD left, Westbrick had oladipo, PG, Melo, Adams. Guys who could defend like Roberson, Grant, etc. Not even 01 Iverson could take this warriors roster to the playoffs.
