Back to the topic: he's been hustling his ass off (nobody would argue otherwise), but yes, he has been inconsistent. As I told you in the other thread, averaging 16 points on 15 shots isn't good enough: missing open shots and missing uncontested shots at the rim continue to plague his play. He doesn't do anything else offensively so he needs to provide better and more consistent scoring, and not just when there's a defensive breakdown with all the attention on Steph - he needs to create buckets for himself.

The question remains though, why would you be so mad over someone pointing that out? You ran in this thread and the mention of Wiggins being inconsistent triggered you.

You can be the "second best player reliably" and still be inconsistent - that's the carry job that Steph is doing in the Finals, where almost everyone has been inconsistent. You're basically saying he hasn't been as inconsistent as everyone else, not named Steph. That still doesn't mean he hasn't been inconsistent. Averaging 16 points on below-league efficiency is inconsistent. Why would you have a problem with something that is factual and what is essentially trivial? What do you get out of protecting him?

Warriors defense been doin they job this season almost a top 5 defense.... But Steph look done he not bad but he just another good guard out there that not prime Steph. They 4-1 without Steph this season only loss by 4pts to OKC.... Can't blame supportin cast....
