HE DID STAR WARS???
:ohhh:

:gladbron:
you didn't know that??? lol. The best thing about buying cds was opening it and looking at the production tracks. Star Wars was actually a track he gave Nas and it took him a while to release it so he did a song over the beat as well. Then Nas released it on the Stillmatic deluxe anniversary edition

The same thing also happened on a song he gave to U God. and he reused the vocal hook to "Ur da man".Some of Large Pro's best work are songs that most people have never heard. He's never broke thru the mainstream again after Geffen shelved his classic debut solo.

he's always releasing music, he's just not mainstream. He produced an album for Neek the Exotic late last year. he's been working with dude for about 20 years now. That album flew so far under the radar, it's not even listed on wikipedia. It's dope though.

He’s a legend…

He basically produced all of Kool G Rap’s Wanted Dead or Alive

Eric B. just took all the production credits

And he was 18 when he did that. This album and Ket the Rhythm Hit him, the engineer Anton said Large pro basically did both albums without the credit. G Rap and Polo said Large pro did 70% of their album in an interview. The rumor fir decades is that Paul C started working on Let the Rhythm hit em before he was killed and large Pro finished it as an 18 year old. This isn’t true. Paul C was killed before the recording of the album started in 1989. One of Paul’s friends(I forgot his name at the moment) told Rakim there was this young guy that knew Paul and the beats he would use so Large Pro basically came in and did the album. As a goddamn 17/18 year old.

the strange thing is that Large Pro RARELY discusses either of the albums, but Anton gave a full interview about them a couple years ago. He said Large pro used those sessions and studio time to work on his own music. And they weren’t only using the 1200 and 950, they also used a sampler called a Publison with more time.
