Show was this past Saturday and was lit
The star of the show was Rashad Smith.... very underrated producer who has a very slept on catalogue full of hits from Biggie, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Tribe and Rakim!! Son was there to get his flowers and he outdid Ski
Dont get me wrong now, Ski did his thing, he dug in the crates and played that Pace Won - I Declare War, as well as Fat Joe - John Blaze.

But of course he shut it down with "Luchini"
The Beatminerz set was dope as well, their entire set was like them YT videos that play the OG sample first and then lead into the actual track. They played ALL the Boot Camp Clik classics and remixes (Black Moon, Smif-n-Wessun, Heltah Skeltah, OGC)
The headliners was dope but kinda underwhelming cause the show ran out of time and the promoter was kinda rushing Large Pro and Diamond. They had to end it prematurely and Diamond got the mic and barked at him and then stormed off the stage. Everyone understood his gripe, everyone else got a change to rock out while him and Large Pro didn't.
Of course Large Pro shut it down with "It Aint Hard To Tell", but Diamond D countered with "Mos Def - Hip Hop" and the crowd exploded.
The highlight of the night was when Al Skratch came out and performed "Where My Homies" at the very end and Large Pro got on stage and started vibing with him with a damn folding chair (shout out to Montgomery!) Excuse me and bro hollering on the track, we were lit as hell that night
Overall I'd give the show a good 8.5/10, great event for the 50th year of Hip-Hop in NC
