Who likes his looks? Besides when he played killmonger and looked buff and masculine, he is not very attractive imo at all. I’ve never known any women that actually considers him a sex symbol especially in comparison to how women have viewed Denzel Washington, across many different age groups. I could buy that younger girls find him attractive. But younger girls and grown women? Chadwick boseman and Idris Alba are better examples of black male sex symbols and both are better actors than Michael B imo.

Btw, I think he's decent. His performance in the first Creed atleast proved he could carry a film.

Michael B isn’t a great actor. He’s decent, but he was pushed on us. He became the hollyweird black male, constantly casted in movies. It wasn’t based on his acting skills—imo the level of exposure and frequency of it, created hype with him. For whites especially.

And certain movies he’s done better than others. But he’s never been on the level of Denzel in terms of his acting.

And yes, I think bw started paying attention to him when he kept being photographed with ww. That was actually most of the association bw made when it came to him—that he’s a black male actor that only likes ww. Negative attention, is still attention, of course, but i think that’s most of the attention he gets from bw. The only non native presence in America before slavery were austreneans which no modern Africans or ADOS has any bloodline ties to ae they came via Pacific islands and were the very first tribe to leave Africa


The only modern African presence was in mexico/south America were trade was established with Aztecs.
