His mission to expose the LAPD was a failed attempt. He could have not given the LAPD a warning, and silently wipe out the police who are involve in corruption and leave to Mexico without revealing his plans. All I said was that it wasn't the same thing. That guy posted that pic as a response to my quote, as if to say the police shooting those innocent people was the same thing as the guy shooting those innocent people.
The difference is, nobody in here can say for certain that those cops intentionally shot at random people in a random vehicle, especially not just to be noticed and to send some kind of message to the world. That scenario isn't impossible of couse, but does it really make sense for them to randomly do that during a manhunt that's being closely watched by millions? It isn't likely. The more likely scenario is that they were careless in acting on information that the suspect was in the vehicle, and/or that those particular cops are just trigger-happy idiots who didn't know their actions in that scenario wasn't justified under the law [or didn't care]. But the point is, it wouldn't be the same as Dorner intentionally killing two innocent people.
Also, I didn't say the cops would definitely get fired; I even mentioned before in a previous post how some of them get away with using the old "he looked like he was pulling out a gun" excuse. All I meant was that by shooting at those people, they opened themselves up to that possibility [should've made that clearer]. Regardless of corruption and cover-ups, cops have been fired before as a result of situations like that. I would even wager that those cops who shot at the truck are even more likely to get something closer to the punishment they actually deserve, especially considering the nature of this whole story
So wait, you're acknowledging that because Dorner went on his rampage that LAPD officers who normally get away with brutalizing and killing innocent minorities are NOW going to be more likely to actually be disciplined for their actions?

You just made the point that many have made, the LAPD is on thin ice because of Dorner, people are looking at them in a way that hasn't been the case since Rodney King.
LAPD officers likely got away with murdering one of the most famous rappers in history and yet how much did you hear about Rafael Perez and David Mack on your nightly news.
The only person who you could argue was innocent was the daughter of the police chief, the rest of them were cops, therefore part of the system Dorner and the rest of us are against.
It's unfortunate for their families, but too many cops have hidden behind badges and even worst, sat by and did nothing.
Everybody hates Joe Paterno, because they say he said nothing while kids were being molested by Jerry Sandusky, but LAPD officers on a daily basis sit by and say nothing while their brethren are harassing, molesting, and killing innocent people.
So, even cops you think of as "innocent" are part of the problem.
It's funny, they blame Hip-Hop for "Stop Snitching", but the "Blue Wall of Silence" is even more egregious and yet nobody is ever held accountable for it.
