apparently the officer Evans (his training officer at the time) had given him an unsatisfactory review the day before he made a complaint about the kicking.

is dude a paranoid individual with delusions of grandeurs? was he being painted as an unstable individual so they could fire him more easily? is it somewhere between both? Both scenarios are possible...
according to the huff article, his ex-girl also said he was very insecure and crazy. And the article says he filed the restraining order against her but then didn't show up to the hearing which is why it was dismissed. It's weird because everything says "crazy insecure paranoid man" but it's always from somewhat biased sources.
I don't necessarily blindly trust what he says in his manifesto but then again i don't necessarily trust what the media is trying to paint OR the LAPD. unless there is an investigation on what he claims, we'll never really know

Those are coming from the LAPD reports though. The Navy to my knowledge have no similar instances. To add, what does that tell you about the LAPD's screening process, if true.

I just hate how some outlets of the major media refer to the Unabomber's manifesto as "genius," while this guy's manifesto is a "rambling."
I'm taking everything she said with a grain of salt because hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I think they're finding anyone that will make him look unstable and not credible.
That's just my take on it. Look in a couple days we'll see the ex all over TV giving interviews.
