I got to find a forum populated by cops and read their reactions to this.

I'm not going into all the details here, but the shooting on the newspaper girls will be considered a good shoot. I don't have enough details on the second one yet.

Knowing the city of LA however I wouldn't be surprised at all that those ladies get some financial recourse (which I actually agree with in this case. Not because LAPD did anything wrong, but they didn't either. Just a bad situation all around).

I agree. Sometimes bad things happen and nobody is really at fault. I think fair compensation is in order to the victims. The really blame is on the POS that is at large. Without him, none of this would have happened.

They had reasonable suspicion to fire by the sounds of it. Just because some people think two cops made a mistake that shouldn't label the other 13,000 as corrupt.
