Yeah this is a place where he really should flex his muscles. Atlanta is arguably better directed and produced than The Mandalorian.

There's enough black creatives out there to do something with this. I'm not against brehs elevating but Justin Simien is the least inspiring choice.

I know there’s other brehs who could do it. I’m simply saying if I was Donald Glover it would have to be me. I’d want to be in charge of the whole thing. And the man made Atlanta so we all know he has the talent to do it.

After the fallout of that Deadpool Animated show he and his brother tried to do, I wouldn’t be surprised if he only wants to be bothered with Disney strictly as a onscreen talent. With continuing to his work on Atlanta being the exception.

I’m surprised JD Dillard(Director of Slieght and Sweeheart) isn’t handling the Lando series, Lucasfilm announced his deal last year. I’d prefer him to Siemien

Simien is a great director and has his own unique style of humor and visuals. It is not surprising that Donald Glover entrusts the guy with his show. A true artists’ artist. Guys on here who cavort about agendas incessantly are not going to be able see that, though.

Show could be interesting, since he'll have to navigate though a world with gangsters, mercenary clans, and the Empire while rising up from a gambler to a businessman who runs an entire Cloud City.

Could be like "CASINO" in space.
