On the track, Del Rey sings
: 'I got sweet taste for men who're older / It's always been so it's no surprise / Harvey's in the sky with diamonds / And it's making me crazy / All he wants to do is party with his pretty baby.'
The 'Harvey' line was later removed - reportedly at the disgraced executive's insistence.
'Harvey went bananas and insisted Del Rey change the lyrics, which she did, removing Harvey's name, so the line now goes, "Ah he's in the sky with diamonds and he's making me crazy,"' said the source.
The written lyrics may have been charged, but the singer still clearly says 'Harvey' on the track.
Del Rey was later hired by Weinstein Company to pen two songs for the 2014 film Big Eyes, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination.
On the track, Del Rey at one point croons:
'Come on baby, let's ride / We can escape to the great sunshine / I know your wife and she wouldn't mind.'
She also has another song that could be inspired by him:
Hollywood and New York, Mister Major
And there's me, little queen of the stage, yeah
He's a God, one the stars call creator
Hail the king of the industry players
Take off your business suit
Sitting in your lap for my interview
