I mean there can occasionally be ONE but that's the point..... it's just ONE when I was in 8th. The starting CENTER on my squad, my shorter teammate and SG could dunk and he got them same reactions.

Also I coach 7-8 graders in rec ball. Not one player both on my teams or opponents are dunking.

Truth be told, I think kids are putting more emphasis on they shooting and handles these days then physical shape and hops

I went to highschool with a guy who got drafted by the Broncos (6th rd TE) and two guys who went to Marshall and played with Randy moss.

I stress defense so yea..... my rule is if you play great defense for 3 quarters and we get a solid lead, I'll allow what I call "Showtime" where we run the score up and every one pretty much gets there shyt in

I find that incentive usually enticing to kids

Man..... y'all getting me hype talking about Bball.

Our season about to begin again and I can't wait to get my squad. Last year I had a guy who had a game like a young Prime Chris Webber.

In fact on our exit interviews (cuz I love to always talk with them to tell them what to work on in off-season) I told him to watch some old CWebb Michigan and Bullet highlights.

That boy could make it in a big college league if he keeps working him game up.

He probably won't play this league no more due to age but he gonna be a blessing for his next coach
