I think about half of those doubters were just waiting for him to grow honestly. If he had capped out at like 6'1-6'3 it'd be a different story but historically pg's over 6'6 tend to do very well on the nba level. Actually makes me think that every kid should be learning guard position skills and then transition to what ever position their body grows into
