Like I said, the Chiefs did the same thing to the Dolphins and the Bills. Took away the intermediate and deep passes. You can't scheme your WR's open easily vs their passing defense. These last three weeks these opposing QB's have looked up after their drop was complete and everybody has been covered. Only Tua connected with a deep ball home run in-structure/stride.

Lamar needed to extend plays and give his WR's a chance to get open and hit them on the run. Dude needed to be an out-of-structure play maker today.

That play where he decided not to get the first down as well was :mindblown:

No help from any run plays either. Edwards was a non-factor because the Ravens OC made no effort to get dude the ball.
San Francisco and Detroit is checking down specialists teams, it will be interesting to see how they play these teams.

No reason for him to abandon running the ball like this.

Everytime he dropped back in the 2nd half, those gaps were available for him to pick up yards on the ground.

Unless he's hurt and doesn't want to run, he switched who he is as a player to appease the media narrative about him. :stopitslime:

Yea, I hate seeing Qbs insist on waiting around when there's nowhere to throw and plenty of space to run. It's like there's a voice in their head "You better not run for that 1st down, boy".

Whatever it is, Lamar has to get right.

:dahell: What a bizarre and unexpected performance. Was the moment too big brehs?
Nah its just like the OP said. I noticed a lot of black quarterbacks are trying to prove they can win as pocket passers. Forget all that because if those same critics had that kind of running ability they would damn sure use it to win.
