Dan uses his platform to campaign for Josh and Joe. He presents and frames stats from a disingenuine approach. Complete opposite of a Mini Kimes.
Dude flat out said he's rooting for Josh, wants him to win the MVP because it's his time, and is rooting for the Bills to win the SB.
I can understand if he said "front runner..." or "expects the Bills to be playing the best football in January..."
He presents his takes like a fan more than an analyst
Last week he said Flowers/Batemane are better than Chase/Higgins lol
I can’t remember ever seeing an nfl award race where the discourse was this shamelessly partisan and dishonest on one end.
Lamar is genuinely the first quarterback I’ve seen people say shouldn’t be allowed to win the award because his skill position teammates don’t all suck even while no team since he turned pro has spent less at receiver and only 4 quarterbacks have had a higher percentage of passes dropped than Lamar. It’s entirely ignored that for 8-10 games to open the year his pass defense was on pace to be the worst of all time (Josh Allen and I think Bo Nix were the only quarterbacks in that stretch to not have their best game of the year against the ravens) while his team has been the most penalty prone with a line that’s been bad in pass protection & also having statistically the league’s worst kicker this season who has directly played a role in 3-4 losses and led to some of the worst starting field position in the league too. Anyone but Lamar or maybe Mahomes and this roster would be looking at 7-8 wins max so far.
It’s not like Allen is having a career year either. He’s had more touchdowns before, he’s hard more yards per attempt before, he’s had more yards before. In fact he’s had 4 separate seasons with more passing yards per game than this year and he’s I think 15th in the league in that category so far this year. You’d think the guy is completing 75% of his passes at 9+ yards per attempt for 360+ yards per game with a 130+ passer rating the way some of these talking heads are propping him up.
