As a Laker fan...

I don't know how I feel about this trade. D'Angelo sometimes has his bad games, but other times, he's reliable as an additional scorer, something that this Lakers team needs now and then.

I fear that Shake and Finley-Smith might be another Dinwiddie and Gabe Vincent situation, two guys that don't give you much when they're on the court. A lot of these players, when they become Lakers, their noticeable play suddenly regresses.

I will say that this changes our rotations, no more Gabe Vincent out there doing nothing.

In theory D-Lo was the type of PG you need next to Bron and AD. He can run the offense when needed, hit the 3 and playmake. Of course he's ass on D but right now they just gave up the small amount of playmaking we had outside of Bron. Unless they think Reaves can do it

They clearly bought into Reaves, he has more upside in the long run and he's still open to working on his game

Dlo never gonna grow out of the flaws he has at this point in his career, he gonna bullshyt until trade rumors come up then he's gonna play serious :russell: they want LeBron to be able to retire on a competitive squad, it's good for the league in general, not seeing him go out defeated on a struggling team

Some Laker fans wanna ignore DLO going completely ghost in the postseason…….

During that run to the conference finals, he performed well against the Grizzlies and Warriors; we wouldn't have gotten past the Dubs without him having two big games that series.

Yeah, he shyt the bed against Denver, which could've had a lot to do with Ham, but why do we think beating the Nuggets is supposed to be looked upon as the barometer for success?

I know you didn't mention Denver but that seems to be the only team fans bring up when evaluating Dlo's performances these past few seasons.
