Even without his athleticism he's still gonna be a very good to great player.

He's still gonna have court vision as good as we've ever seen in the NBA. He's still gonna be as strong as an ox. By that time his post game will surely have improved to a top notch level and it's not a stretch to think he'll be near a knockdown jump shooter by then as well.

Besides, at 30, he's still gonna be athletic as fukk (barring an injury of course).

its funny that they would not want a 30 year old Lebron. SOME athletes had their best years between 30-34. Lebron appears to be one of those guys. That is 5 years of very very good basketball he would have barring injury. Lebron is the only player since Jordan that did not have messed up knees. He is built to last. Hell Dwade is 30 and played with a bum knee and was still more athletic that the vast majority of young dudes in the league. Plus Lebron bball IQ is already high, it would be GAWD status by the time he is 30. I see Lebron slimming down a bit in the coming years to maintain his quickness. People thought Jordan wouldn't be able to dominate as he lost his athleticism but all legends find a way to add to their game and become more efficient and use there experience to stay ahead.
