Lakers offseason thread: Renovation era

The biggest concerns heading into this season are health (mostly Kobe and Nash), Mike Brown, and out backup PG's.


If Kobe and Nash's minutes can be reduced they should be fine health wise.

Mike Brown is a brilliant defensive coach but is arguably the worst offensive coach in the league. Mitch has brought in a good support staff for him and Nash can run things on his own.

The Lakers backup PGs are suspect as fukk. I don't see Blake or Duhon taking much pressure off of Nash. Blake MIGHT be better playing alongside Meeks and Jamison though.

I don't think the Lakers will have the same chemistry issues that the heat had simply because the Lakers starting 5 compliment each other much better.

He's not terrible, he just too small to play his natural position and not talented enough to make up for his lack of size. G-Loc also doesn't have the natural instincts to be a PG.

He needs to learn how to play better defense too.
