Howard saying he testing free agency regardless of what team he's traded to, Nets and Lakers included:aicmon: This fakkit luh da attn

Deron Williams said the same thing. It makes no sense not to test free agency. With that extra year, it's most likely that Dwight, Bynum, or whoever else is going to stay with whatever team has them when they become free agents but they can't promise anything and extending before that point would just be stupid unless they're worried about getting injured.

Unless...............................

The Clippers get into the fold, Dwight and his big mouth let it be known he would stay in LA, Orlando has nothing to lose by waiting, unless LA take their offer off of the table

Far as I can tell the Clippers don't even want Dwight.

Plus if I'm Orlando there's no way in hell I'm entertaining ANY trade with Orlando that doesn't get me Blake Griffin. Clippers aren't going to have any good draft picks for awhile with CP3 and Blake. Clippers also don't have much young talent nor the space to take on all of Orlando's bad contracts.

fukk Howard. He's gonna pull this shyt in the middle of the season and the end of the season and after they lose in the playoffs. Only Pau and Antwan Jamison will still be putting up with his shyt by then and they'll be on the way out too but won't be bytching about it.

But one that gets them Anderson Varejao is ok? I realize there are picks involved in that Cavs scenario too but it depends on how many of their own they're giving up or they're just tossing aside the ones they picked up from the Heat and Lakers.

In the Cavs scenario there are picks involved and Varejao isn't the only player being shipped out, Orlando would also be getting expirings and young talent to go along with the rest. The Cavs would also have much more room to take on Orlando's bad contracts.

Also notice I said if I was Orlando. Orlando apparently does want any player back. Bynum is far and away the best individual player they've been offered yet they've been turning that down.
