Lebron has respected Doc since he had to teamup with Wade and Bosh just to beat docs celtics. Thing is tho why would Doc want to go to LA? Ten years ago he left boston to avoid another rebuild…Lakers will be rebuilding his second year there. Hes supposed to go to a win now situation.

Before hiring Frank Vogel, the Los Angeles Lakers were reportedly close to making Ty Lue their next head coach. It ultimately fell through, and now a few seasons later some new details of those discussions have emerged. In a recent article from ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk, Lue shared his side of the story.

"The Lakers [saw it] more so as like [I'm just] coming to coach LeBron," Lue said. "No, I'm coming to win. I just didn't think I was treated fairly. And I wasn't just going to accept any offer just to get a job. I just thought I was better than that."

Apparently they offered him less years/money than LAC, and wanted to dictate who his coaching staff consisted of. Ty said nah.

Sixers were already a playoff team with Brett Brown they brought Doc in to “get ‘em over the hump” and he can’t do it cause he’s trash
