If you think about it, we'd still be in the same position without the book. Sherm would still be having the mural defaced based off what happened with them. :yeshrug:

yea true, just a sad situation all together. they need to let that man rest in peace. he can't defend himself anymore now that he's gone.

P said alot of reckless stuff, but he didnt say anything bad about Ty Nitty, not at all. He was complaining just to complain...Even Havoc? The same Havoc who ignored Ps family when he was locked up? Who barely wrote or saw him?? Who played with a gun and shot their boy Perry in the stomach? Who stepped to a man over a hoe? That Havoc??

Ty Nitty was mad P revealed the shooting details in his book, he felt that was a private matter and Prodigy was just trying to use that drama to sensationalise his book based off his suffering. Apparently he also said he squealed like a pig. There's 2 sides to a story, people only heard P's side from the book, P did overexxagerate and lie at times. Point was even Havoc had a problem with P at 1 point, P wasn't just a saint that never did no wrong, Nas had a problem with P too, many people did. Doesn't mean P ain't a legend and a great rapper, or that he's a bad person cause I don't think he was, but he also had a lot of enemies. Sometimes he'd talk about people who he felt couldn't get at him because they were either dead, in jail or he was going to jail, sometimes he would diss people for no reason, he even apologised to some people and reached out when he did that after he came back from jail. The list of people P had issues with is extensive, even in QB it's extensive, P was a flawed human not a saint but it really seemed like he was making a consertive effort to head in a better direction in his latter years, some issues weren't resolved like that though, but thankfully some of the major ones were.

How is Mega gonna say P had beef with Lake and Sherm? He got them tickets to the Tunnel, they showed up late, couldn't get in, and robbed him. P tried to help them and that's the thanks he got. They had an issue with P.

Hav didn't seem to mess with QB at all in those days.
There's a few details left out of it too that I don't think P was completely honest about.
The robbery happened in 1999....and I always asked myself, then why did P do songs on Lakeys 41st Side compilation...which came out in 2001, especially if these dudes ended up fighting and brawling at Central Park in 2005 at Nas's concert?

I've heard Prodigy's story in a few different interviews from P himself..and he always talks about how he went to see Nas and Lakey to get his chain back, with his gun and without back up.

But he always leaves out one particular detail....he PAID to get his chain back from Lakey.

Because in this interview, this guy Karcino says that P paid Lake a few thousand dollars to buy off the extortion....and when P didn't have any more money...he agreed to do a track for him which he said was worth a lot more. That explains why P was on the 2001 Lakey album....because he was paying the extortion. He did 2 verses on the album.

And he never did anything for again after that.

I don't know how knowledgeable karcino is about this...but it does make sense. It's the only explanation that makes sense to me.

P didn't give a fukk. I remember P on a dvd telling Lake "fukk your muscles. I'll shoot you in your muscles nicca" :heh:
And it's still mind boggling how he tried to look out for them and they flipped it on some extortion shyt.

I gotta admit, if P shot them and I was on a jury...I wouldn't have convicted him. He'd walk free and easy. That whole shyt is beyond all levels of fukkery

First off, Ive read and listened to Ps book. He never said he squealed like a pig. He did have a sound effdct of a man screaming. That Ty Nitty story was vital. It was a three part drama. Hav attacked Tragedy, Nore shot at the ground and the ricochet hit Johnny in Part 1. Part 2 Nitty, Twin and Karate Joe jumped and beat Nore in retaliation.. Part 3 Nore had Nitty shot as the getback. How was telling that story wrong??There's 2 sides to a story, people only heard P's side from the book, P did overexxagerate and lie at times.

Name some instances were P intentionally lied?? I admit his timeline was off on certain things, but I didnt spot any intentional lies. If anything he was too honest..Case in point, he went home and cried to his woman after being beaten and robbed. If you were lying, then why reveal that??
Point was even Havoc had a problem with P at 1 point, P wasn't just a saint that never did no wrong, Nas had a problem with P too, many people did.

P was an honest dude with no filter. Of course he had enemies..He beefed with gangsta nikkas..Why are you holding Nas and Havoc up like they are beacons of integrity? They both come off as shady in his book..Doesn't mean P ain't a legend and a great rapper, or that he's a bad person cause I don't think he was, but he also had a lot of enemies. Sometimes he'd talk about people who he felt couldn't get at him because they were either dead, in jail or he was going to jail, sometimes he would diss people for no reason, he even apologised to some people and reached out when he did that after he came back from jail.
P did diss alot of people seemingly without cause. But what dead people did he diss? Youre just making up shyt?? He dissed Worm, who robbed and suckerpunched him and tried to rob Twin right after his bro died?? Why wouldnt he diss him?? He dissed Supreme because he had his good friend EMoney Bags ambushed and killed. Why wouldnt he diss him?? Would you respect P more if he squashed beef with the guy who threatened to sexually violate his underage daughter like Nas did with Cam?? The list of people P had issues with is extensive, even in QB it's extensive, P was a flawed human not a saint but it really seemed like he was making a consertive effort to head in a better direction in his latter years, some issues weren't resolved like that though, but thankfully some of the major ones were.

Final point I agree with..
