I heard about this a couple years ago but never looked into it.
I see that there is one near my house. Do I just show up? Lol

Yes you don't have to join the first night you visit. You can come as a guest as often as you would likeI heard about this a couple years ago but never looked into it.

Check it outI've been thinking about it for years.
, then last year a club was created 5 mins away from me so I am going to visit it on Wednesday.
No?It helps with presentations, interviews.I seen professors give grades just off of way a person talks during presentation.nope
DTM doing it big props to your wife.I have e a humorous speech on Trump and electiom other night it was a roast type speecb. It was a 11 minute speech.Alot of young people don't realize how fun public speaking can be.Especially when you choose your speech topics lol.ladies, if you are ever going to do it, join when you are young..
First,, I was in different clubs over the years..
Each group was at least 25% black
My first wife did it for a year.. to humor me
She got her CTM (old term)
She was already a good speaker
But she got a lot better at organizing a speech and staying on time
My work wife got her DTM
She improved at public speaking
But she really shined at running meetings and hosting competitions
Final comment- if in doubt, visit 3 clubs
Each will have different strengths and varying styles
Not for everyone
You just retired on topi went to toastmasters for a few weeks. i did my presentation and won the presenter award. so i left after that lol
