I heard about this a couple years ago but never looked into it.

I see that there is one near my house. Do I just show up? Lol

I've been thinking about it for years.
, then last year a club was created 5 mins away from me so I am going to visit it on Wednesday.

ladies, if you are ever going to do it, join when you are young..

First,, I was in different clubs over the years..
Each group was at least 25% black

My first wife did it for a year.. to humor me
She got her CTM (old term)
She was already a good speaker
But she got a lot better at organizing a speech and staying on time

My work wife got her DTM
She improved at public speaking
But she really shined at running meetings and hosting competitions

Final comment- if in doubt, visit 3 clubs
Each will have different strengths and varying styles

DTM :leon: doing it big props to your wife.I have e a humorous speech on Trump and electiom other night it was a roast type speecb.It was a 11 minute speech.Alot of young people don't realize how fun public speaking can be.Especially when you choose your speech topics lol.

I keep on cancelling my invite there. I'm just to nervous to go even though I do not need to speak. They hold it every 2 weeks and was supposed to go second week in jan for the first time. I'll go next time.
