Ladies: Michael Kors - What is the appeal?

Michael Kors is more commercialized now, but still has high end pieces. He is doing the high low thing. Reminds me of how Coach was as far as popularity. I hate "signature" pieces from any brand. The MK's the C's hate it. I had have an all leather brown sactchel purse for coach I could use for years vs. Signature things. It really dates things.

His clothes fit nice too. He has simple designs.

Also....Project Runway, he has a new generation of clientele

Yea... My girl has a couple Coach purses you'd never know were Coach which IMO is the nicest. That logo everywhere, all over shyt has always looked tacky to me whether it's Coach, LV or Gucci. Give me some subtle looking shyt any day.

Yea, I mean for one, real leather trumps canvas as far as lasting anyway. I had 2 leather ones I wore out, but LV signature leather last. At least the vintage stuff and they have never changed their classic logo until the boxes...Now seeing it on visors and car seats and everything else makes it super tacky lol.

Michael Kors really got popular the last few years and that's because they were killing coach with their designs, but coach came back with some updated new ones. They got some designs that I think even LV copied

Anyways...it's not just black folk losing their minds over MK. I was at the Burberry store for black friday and nothing but Asians tearing that place apart. Like, clothes on the ground and shyt. No fukks were given. SMH @ waiting in line in -10C to buy thousand dollar pants.
