Alex has more of a golden/bronze undertone to her skin that makes it more radiant. This dude here does really have any undertones in his skin to make it anything like Alex's

Yes his complexion is too dark to be radiant
A complexion can also be too light to be radiant too
Just because his complexion is not radiant does not mean he is unattractive. I know light skinned people without radiant skin also.
