here's what you should have done. if she asked, you should have told her your real age. you shouldn't have implied you were single if you're not. Let her choose what she wants. maybe she would have been cool with being your sidechick. or maybe not. either way, let her choose. just having that attitude of not caring that much if she choose you or not (and i'm not saying to pretend like you don't want her, there's a difference between wanting something and craving it) f you had that attitude, she would feel it and you'd be surprised at what some chicks will put up with if they want you as well
