I've always been one of the few resident Spoelstra defenders in here too. To the point where I got tired of arguing and was telling his critics in here that if they think Riley is gonna drop his protege that he groomed to replace him over clown ass fans bytching they are delusional. This aint no fukking democracy.

The litmus test to me on Spoelstra is how much opposing coaches and GMs respect and downright admire the guy. So if I start to question my faith in his ability to do his job with all the noise I hear from some of the random clowns out there I just lean on the opinion of mofos who get paid millions to evaluate a coach's job performance

I think we all agree that spo has vindicated himself. And most of us have said as much. But let's calm down. Dude obviously had many flaws as a coach. We were consistently the worst 3rd quarter team in the league every single season. That's a motivation and adjustment issue. Dude reinvented himself this season. Spo in the past would have kept Nunn and olynik in the rotation until it was too late. Now he's much more willing to swallow his pride and switch things up when they aren't working. He understands now that sometimes you gotta adjust to your roster instead of vice versa. Can't keep sticking a square peg in a round hole. Spo leveled up and matured this season.

Depends, I'd be open to a real star player but not faux stars. The Beals and Oladipos of the world don't really appeal to me, I enjoy watching guys we develop more than a roster full of mercenaries.

yea im with u. The max cap space we got should only be used for Giannis or AD since our home grown guys are stepping into those star roles. Dragic and crowder need to be brought back for chemistry and fit for sure. I dont want to see any of our guys in a trade for beal or dapo.

we might get some vets that want to come for min deals after the run we are on. Damn i didnt this team would restore that feeling of the big 3 or the Wade/shaq combo but here we are

Spo pushing the right buttons. Cut Olynyk and Nunn from the rotation yesterday because they've been liabilities and it paid off.

What was wrong with Nunn because I"m on the outside looking in. I saw a first team all nba rookie who was getting buckets all year. So when Spo stopped playing him, I questioned it. Can you break down how you knew Nunn would be a liablity in the playoffs? I mean he barely played in ANY SERIES.
