The 22 teams going will play 8 regular season games to finalize the seeding.
If after those 8 games the 9th seed is within 4 games of the 8th seed, they will play each other in a play-in. If 9th is more than 4 games back, 8th makes the playoffs
If the 8th seed wins the first game of the play-in, they advance to the playoffs.
But if the 9th seed wins, it becomes best 2 out of 3 to make the playoffs
We’re pretty much safe as far as making the playoffs, only thing that would change for us potentially is seeding
