I dont know if it's some high-school mentality or white people mentality that always wants to see people form other sports fight always reminiscing on some "oh you know Bill Laimbeer would have broken that guy's jaw" type shyt.

I listened to the Locked on Heat podcast this morning as they discussed the Dion Waiters saga.
Honestly I understand Waiter's point of view and kinda feel for the guy since he's only 27 and dont wanna see his career just get extinguished at the end of this contract. But the fact remains that he needs to be patient. He knows Spo gives everyone and their mama palying time. he knew this before he signed the extension. And i'm sure he saw the writing on the wall the minute we got Buttler. he could have simply quietly requested a trade there and then and om sure the team would have made a point to showcase him in order to get someone to bite.
Again, im not mad at him for feeling the way he feels about the situation but you gotta know in an organization as secretive as the Heat you gotta handle shyt internally and not be on Social media running your mouth. Even Whiteside took a while before he ran his mouth on social media and i never forgave him for it.

Dion, like Hassan, just doesnt mesh with Spo.
Dion needs to be quiet.
I actually have a certain level of appreciation for the guy even tho i didnt like/care for him when he first got here. But he's going about this the wrong way right now. In an organization that is obsessed with keeping shyt secretive you don't go yapping on social media and expect to be rewarded.
Spo knows Riley's got his back and Micky will back Riley while Dion isnt a star which gives him very little leverage. So if Tyler blows, Bustise is able to create off the dribble and other wing players are playing well Spoelstra will have no incentive to do anything to appease Dion. All he'll have left to fall back on is knowing his contract is virtually guaranteed. But even with that i'm sure his agent should have already warned him by now that his mouth may cause other teams to stay away from him in the future
And i'm mentally preparing myself that we'll be taking on a super shytty contract in any trade in exchange for Dion Waiters since every team knows we need to get rid of him and he has 2 years left on his contract.
Any team with a sorry player with a albatross contract will offer them up for Dion. I'm thinking some Kent Bazemore's ATL or Tyler Johnson' MIA type contract.
Unless we can package him and Dragic and get a better deal.
