It's obvious Dion needs more playing time :yeshrug:..so now what!

would not mind a three guard line up with JJ and big man on the second unit. Aint no bigs out there we could lol. Derrick Favors would be nice.

Respect to these boys. Dion impressed with me how NBA ready he seemed despite this being his first game. His defense was pretty damn solid and you can tell he didn’t even want to give Spo any inkling about benching him for lack of defensive effort.

If Dion can step up, I think he could actually be really dangerous alongside Robinson because Dion is a drive and dish playmaker.

Dion can also kill teams when he’s playing with Butler and Dragic

I hate the zone. I know it may have worked in stretches this year, but a lot of that just feels like playing the results. Because there's been a lot of times in the zone where they give a lot of open shots and offensive rebounds but teams just happen to be missing. And I think it's a stretch to think that the plan is to give up open shots and hope they miss. Today as soon as they went to the zone in the 3rd, is when the Clips got into a rhythm and eventually the 14-0 run. shyt they gave up 8 3s in the 3rd alone. And it's just so different then their identity of tough aggressive defense

I’m being honest, I think Spo is doing the zone to drill rotations into the minds of all our players, even at the cost of games, because it’s really going to matter in the playoffs.

Against the 76ers and the Bucks, it’s probably going to be what decides a lot of those playoff games. I’m seeing him switch a lot of the placement of our players and seeing what guys work best where.

Its also key to protecting our weaker individual defenders like Nunn, Meyers, and Robinson.

Okpala is already showing signs of being a real problem in the league.

-Nice release and confidence in his corner 3.
-Ability and willingness to immediately punish mismatches in the post with size and length by just finishing over them with long limbs
-Absorbing the physical contact on that Euro, keeping his balance, and taking long strides to the basket
-Finesse around the rim

Yeah he definitely experimented. Especially this game you could see it in the second half. Some of those lineups were working too. But it all depended on Olynyk and Bam making plays. Bam was legit our PG like the whole second half
