Spo deserved all the criticism he got. He was coaching terribly. Him doing a great job this season doesn't change that fact. This is like saying nastradamus ain't garbage because Nas dropped stillmatic :mjlol:

We can pull receipts on each other all day. Each and every one of us have made regrettable posts about our team. Yourself definitely being one of them:sas1:

But at the end of the day, we're passionate fans who are gonna get frustrated when shyt aint going right. We always been that way. That's why we're heat fans. When people deserve to get shytted on, we shyt on em:manny:
shyt if the GOAT Heat player Wade can get slandered for loafing and taking nights off, then no coach or player is above criticism

Not saying anyone is above CRITICISM. But some cats were flat out calling for his job and it was mostly centered around not playing certain stanned players like Whiteside and Michael fukking Beasley. Because somehow, they felt these players lack of minutes was the reason for the team's failures regardless if these players were NOT doing what he asked of them to play within the system.

Nastradamus was ass and you may have called Nas out to do better and not buy the album. But you still jammed to Nas, tho. You werent calling for him to quit rapping or be dropped by his label. You weathered through the nastradamus storm until he gave you another reason to brag about him again.

And YES i too have made some regrettable posts but i cant recall which ones. And i agree noone is above criticism.
  • As much as I respect him as a coach I've often criticized Spoelstra for being super stubborn when it comes to his rotations.
  • As much as I love that mofo I've only criticized D-Wade for being a slacker when it comes to taking care of his body and taking his rehabs seriously.
  • Hell i'm the one that been preaching #inRileyWeTrust yet i have criticized some of his moves myself. Some i was right. Some i was wrong.
But you never heard me say get them fukkas out of here like some were saying about Spoelstra. Even in his worst years Spoelstra was still regarded one of the bright young coaches in the national media. I remember laughing at some of the posts where these cats were calling for Spoelstra to be fired as if Riley was gonna fire his protege over Whiteside or that f@ggot Beasley over fans bytching. Hell there was even posts about throwing Riley himself in the bushes.
P.S. I'm still waiting and wish Winslow would make all my statements about him regrettable since i was "guaranteed" he'd be a star. :pachaha:

Refelecting a bit.Now that i think of it... my only regrettable statement i can recall in recent years was wanting to get rid of Bosh in 2010/2011. :jbhmm: I wanted either LaMarcus Aldridge and especially Paul Mislsap over him. I know he made me eat my words the very next year and he became one of my favorite Heat players ever.
Perhaps me wanting Carlos Arroyo to get more PT over Mario Chalmers as a rookie wasnt my finest moment either.:heh: I was just tired of Chalmers dribbling down the court with his head down not seeing players wide open under the basket screaming for the ball :manny: Oh...I was a Harold Miner stan :snoop: He should have been our D-Wade before D-Wade :mjcry:

Man those Beasley years were rough. Wade my fav player so I remember him having to carry those lottery level teams with Beasley and the corpse of Jermaine O'Neal
I dont watch college basketball so i usually dont know much about the players coming out. With that said, i kinda bought into the pre-draft hype of Beasley. But then i became skeptical when Riley, on national television, made it clear he didnt want him. D-Wade did the same. Per reports, Spoelstra, Keith Askins and the rest of the coaching staff convinced Riley that Beasley should be our pick. (that's the one grudge i still hold against Spoelstra)

Then came Summer Leagues and i realized how lazy Beasley was both on offense and defense. Keith Askins had to yell at him to get into the post when that fukka just wanted to come down the floor and chuck up 3 pointers every possession. He definitely lost me when he said his goal was to trim down and become a SF when everyone (myself included) was hoping he'd bulk up to play PF. Alonzo Mourning and the coaching staff pushing him to bulk up too so he could bang down low with NBA sized PFs.

So by the time the season started i didnt like him one bit. Then i started seeing some of his upside during the season and i was like we might have something here. The kid can be special for real.:patrice:

Then came this one play in a playoff game against the Celtics his first year that showed me how soft he was... I couldnt stand to look at him since. :birdman:

I don't watch college ball either but I usually give rookies a chance. Problem with Beasley was outside of scoring he offered nothing. And rookies like that are usually a massive bust. Even Rookie Melo who was mostly a scorer could dominate on the boards, play passable defense, and run to the post. Beasley just seemed like a dude who wanted to get 20 points and chill.

It's our fault. We brought someone who's not about hard work into a team with a culture of...hard work.

Thus why when people complain about our selections on draft night i always say let's wait and see because coaches will see certain things in these players that we're not privy to

Chalmers was a funny dude. I'll never forget when he shyt on KD in the Finals.
What did he do? I miss Mario and is fukeries

He dropped 25 on OKC and was mad as fukk. After the game they asked him what got into him and he said cuz they put KD on him as "the easy defensive assignment" and he took it as a sign of disrespect :russ:

I remember years ago Lebatard said if Bron, Wade, Bosh, and Chalmers were playing Chalmers would legit think he's better than Bron on the court :lolbron:
