You dont say...He should only be spot up shooting, he can’t create/doesn’t know what to do when he puts the ball on the floor. Seen this with him going back when he was with the Celtics.
Look, Olynyk is just an average 7 footer who just happens to have range and be a hustler and a Riley type when it comes to defensive effort. He doesnt have the toold to be a great defender (short arms) but he has decent latteral quickness for his size and works hard when he's on the floor. He was brought here to be a rotation player. Not a star nor a starter, even. Remember when he was signed, the plan was to have James Johnson as our starting PF and hopefully land Gordon Hayward as our starting SF while Olynyk would have been a backup to Whiteside and James Johnson.
I just dont understand what more you expect from the guy.
The few PF/Cs in the league that can put the ball on the floor in the league are mostly elite type.From the time he was in Boston we knew him to be a hustler who will work on defense.Y get what you paid for.
