why, did he aggravate his injury?

Yep he went back on the court tho

By the way he went down you could tell he reagravated it. Took him over a minute to get off the ground. Not an expert but I think what they did was give him a shot of anti-inflammatory steroids or something to numb the pain and sent him back out so it doesn't get tighten up on him.

He'll likely be doubtful for the next game as they monitor it. But he's young and likely to heal faster than say Goran

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: Guilty... I was very concerned about his wingspan
Like I always say when folks stay bytching after every draft : " just wait and see. Perhaps the coaching staff saw something in him during workouts". I mean, I don't watch college sports so it's not like I have much of a choice but to put my faith in them and hope they did their homework.
Guess my ignorance is bliss :russ:

Congrats to Jimmy Butler, the EC player of the week!

J Buckets is too damn good.
I just realized dude is 30 and in excellent shape despite Thibodeau (sp) trying to run him into the ground playing him 40+ mins a game all these years. I know he's a hard worker and will not shy away from hard work but I hope Spoelstra protects him from himself and manages his minutes better because we need our money's worth for at least three of the four years we signed him for all that money

His minutes are up because Winslow and Goran hurt. If they were healthy then his minutes would be managed better. Without them Jimmy is really the only ball handler

Just wish we had better options than to have him logging 38+ minutes in some of those game. If we can keep him right at 32 per would be awesome but I understand we currently have a depth issue. Heck i'd say let Dion or JJ come in and log some minutes as our primary ball handler if needed. Trying to save him from himself in a way.

I was happy with the pick still tbh
I figured his shooting would make up for any other deficiencies
