If Justise just got a decent layup package, he’d be among the best guards in the league.

But Justise is still a straight winning player. He had been scoring badly the entire game and he still managed to shoulder the team in the 4th quarter with momentum changing buckets.
That's what I love about Justise and that's why he's in constant talks of being a potential moveable piece we could get value from. Because of his motor and high BBIQ. I love the guy. Hopefully we can keep him and develop his offensive game into something fierce. He has all the gifts, it's just a few tweaks here and there that prevent him from making the proverbial "leap". I always feel like he's "almost" there. We need Wade, Ray, and Timmy Hardaway to have an intervention with him or train with him day in and day out.

I'm just saying. Isn't he supposed to be like best friends with Kyrie Irving? They were partying together on a yatch that summer before Kyrie was a FA.Kyrie is probably the best at layups in the league. He should hang out with his boy one summer and learn from him.

like, did you see how he toyed with his defender at the end of the first half then blew past him heading to the basket only to miss the layup and Jimmy had to put it back?I honestly thought I was looking at Kyrie when he was dribbling until he blew the layup and I realized he was still justise Winslow

And yeah. I don't know where @Draje is getting this best guards in the league thing. Yes the kid has a very high ceiling but there are so many things that need to be fixed for him to come close to that ceiling.....

But on defense he's almost elite no doubt
Draje is right. Winslow "would be" one of the best guards in the league if he could just finish at the rim and improve his shot. He does literally everything else on both sides of the ball very well. He can slash, he can pass, he can run the floor, he has a quick first step, he's strong as hell and knows how to take advantage of mismatches, his on-ball defense is tops, his defensive IQ is tops, his ball insticts are tops. He has very few over all flaws in his game.

You are expecting too much from a player who doesn't have a natural ability to put up points in the board consistently. Justice is still the same player when he was drafted. His game has not mature.
Bro, you are overestimating Justice. Dude is far from being one of the best guards in the league. The best guards can score in the paint and have a jumpshot which Winslow doesn't have.

^^^Those are his only flaws really.

hold up :dwillhuh:

We haven't been this horrible since the 2008 season. We are a trash team with decent talents that don't fit well with whatever plays that Spo wants to run and we are going to be trash in the next coming years with no assets. :mjlol:

5 posts in the season thread last year. Now we good again and you posting. Out here looking casual :aicmon:

If you watched the games you wouldn't have to ask me :mjlol:
I watched majority of the Heat's game this season and the game last night. I still haven't seen any inprovement. Winslow couldn't keep offense flowing as a PG when it was time to close game against the Raptors.

You counted five posts in the last thread, and trying to use this point to make it seem that I'm a casual fan. :russ:I have a TV and sport websites that I used to watch the NBA season. You could have use stats or use other source of evidence to solidify your opinion of Winslow but instead you resort to counting my posts.:mjlol: Did you notice that I don't make a comment on every game even when we win games? :usure: nikka gtfoh we that bullshyt. :mjlol:

I could easily pull up a stat, the point is no numbers I post are going to replace the eye test. Like I said, if you are still seeing the same player from his rookie season you ought to watch more games. You probably never even played basketball competitively at any level which makes having basketball conversations hard on here. That post I quoted was a prime example, "trash in the coming years with no assets" lol, yet we're 2nd in the East. All those smileys cant mask your casual takes.

That was my opinion at the time I watching how poorly we perform last season and the little asest we had at the time. :usure: You wasn't optimistic about this team potential either, and so many other Heat fan shared the same sentiment. I had mixed views on the Heat future for a while. Nice try for calling me out as a casual since in your homotional feelings because you can't handle criticism of Bustice. :umad:

At end of the day it's sport opinion so get over your sensitive feelings you dumbass nikka. :childplease:

Okay okay. I'm saying so many things have to change...

People can develop a jumper over time and they can improve finishing at the rim, yes. And i know he's only 23. But ... this is...year.. 5. Or 4 if you guys still insist on giving him that discount. :smugdraper:
YES he's come a long way but does he have it in him to keep improving. Some people get to a point and they're like "fukk it i've done enough". One thing i'll say is he's no doubt damn near if not elite defender and a smart player. At leas he's not a lazy bum like that f@ggot Beasley. Like i said a few weeks ago i'm happy with 12 pts 6 ast 6 rebs on 6 for 14 FG shooting from him moving forward. That's just what he is. Anything more is just a bonus.

Edit: He does not slash. I've been begging for him to be a better player without the ball and he still doesnt do it on a regular. At least he doesnt camp out at the 3 pt line anymore but let's not act like he's out here looking like Eddie Jones slashing to the rim on a regular.

It’s getting to the point that I’m going to put anyone that calls him Bustise on ignore. It’s so ignorant. Yeah he still needs to improve his finishing around the rim more consistently but he’s so far from a bust that anyone to call him that, especially Heat fans, is just stupid. He’s been an elite defender since day 1, has always made winning plays that don’t show up on box scores and his offensive game has improved every season he’s been in the league. And he’s still just 23.

You want to talk about busts, look at guys like Dragan Bender, Anthony Bennett, Mario Hezonja and Marquese Chriss. Those are all guys that were top 10 picks and either out of the league or have been on multiple teams and struggling to stay in the league
Bustise. Civil wars happen every day, breh :yeshrug:
