Looking ahead, schedule makers keep handing us these tough teams on the second night of back-2-backs :pacspit:
Code:
11/27 @Rockets
11/29 vs Warriors
12/1 @Nets
12/3 @Raptors
12/4 @Celtics
12/6 vs Wizards
Raptors and Celtics are back to back nights. Going 5-1 is possible but I'll be okay if we go 3-3. I just want us to fukk the Celtics up :mjcry:
I despise boston :wow:

My brother's keeper
Winslow is a good player, he just doesn’t fit well with Nunn and jimmy together. That’s why I think Nunn should go to the bench when he gets back and keep Duncan out there or even Tyler who can space and pace.
Why would u sacrifice the chemistry of the unit for Winslow? That's a slap to the player actually producing

Bringing Winslow off of the bench isn’t an option when he’s healthy. He’s one of your best players. Either Nunn or Duncan is going to the bench. The question is which player fits best with jimmy/Winslow who have a redundant skillset.

My answer is Duncan/Tyler. I’m guessing Spo’s answer will be Nunn.

Because it’s the beginning of the season and you want to build teams for the playoffs, Winslow is a straight up better player than Nunn/Robinson with a much higher ceiling, and you want Justise to get more reps especially if you have him as your starting PG.

Nunn’s skill set is more Lou Williams than starting PG. He’s straight up bad defensively and will get picked on by better teams due to his size but he can get buckets. He’s not great at creating for others but he’s a willing passer and he can also spot up so his offensive game is perfect for beating up on 2nd units.

Winslow - Herro - Butler - Bam - Meyers gives you spacing, penetration, and playmaking at 4 positions. The defense is the difference maker though.

Nunn - Dragic - JJ - Olynyk - Silva would tear up 2nd units with Spo making his switches depending on whose hot.

Y’all really forgetting how great a passer and playmaker Justise is.

i think duncan would fit best with them but u cant then u cant have nunn herro and dragic on the floor together because of defense. I know spo loves positionless bball but he is listed as a guard, aint he like 6’8?? I figured he would come off the bench for jimmy or bam

I said at the beginning of the year Nunn reminded me of Tyler Johnson. If I recall, most of you would have preferred TJ in the 6th man microwave role as opposed to starting but what do I know :yeshrug:
I like the kid (Nunn) but he's rather small for my liking. I never cared for small SGs and combo guards. I'd still prefer he start tho. I think we'll get more out of him staying along side Jimmy.

Bench Duncan and Hero for now that way we have lots of fire power off the bench. I trust Jimmy, Bustise, Bam and Nunn to set the time defensively early on. Nunn gives great effort on defense so if a team tries to exploit his size efficiency with a bigger SG we have a 6'7 PG (Winslow) who we can have switch with him and have him guard said opposing SG. I doubt Winslow wants to chase smaller PGs around anyway . So see we can hide Nunn in a lineup along side better defenders like Jimmy and Winslow. We cant do that if hes playing alongside Herro and Dragiç

I wish bam realized that no one out there can guard him. Good energy so far
