Justise defense and DJJ were missed. Bam did a good job on Embid but could tell he had no energy for offense. The same with jimmy guarding ben so Harris went off and then JRich. Maybe we can use JJ at the 5 in spurts next time just to have a body and 6 fouls to give him.

I also thing jrich went off on us cause he know our defense

I’m not stressing too much. This is why Winslow is needed.

I don’t like seeing an ass-whooping but we’re starting to see where we stand (This game and Lakers).

We’re a great team but we’re really newly constructed, we’re missing one of our most important players in Winslow (His ability to defend, create for others, and put pressures on defenses) is simply on another level than our new players like Robinson/Nunn/Herro.

We’re probably another piece away.
Winslow wouldn't have made a difference in this game. Any defensive team would have exploited his weakness as a ball handler. We got beaten badly against the Nuggets with Winslow. Let's not forget that.

He played 3/4 of the game without his brain. And yea, big athletes would definitely make a difference in guarding the Sixers. It was a free for all on Nunn and Duncan all night.

I was watching the defensive breakdown of this game. Jrich knows how we use bam
And his passiveness with shooting so they defended him like other teams defend simmons by sagging off daring him to shoot.
So their best playing was camped in the paint taking away our backcuts and man 2 man D.

ben tho would at least attack the rim or try to post his man up. This was the game where we were supposed to make them pay for that so i hope video spo got him practicing midrange shots like UD

Justise makes this defense legit. Even calls out the switches and movement. When he gets back, the difference will be visible immediately.
