Her father clearly committed suicide out of grief. There's nothing "suspicious" about his death. He admitted that he didn't have a close relationship with her either, and so that probably compounded his sadness.
Anyway, her disappearance is odd.
Yes, grief can cause that. The thought of your child being killed can cause your brain to go wild, whether they are confirmed to be dead or not.Is that normal? To kill yourself if you dont know whether your child is dead or not?
I would assume the grief part would normally come with/after a confirmation of her death. Wouldnt a parent want to do everything to find their child?
Somethings off
Also, consider the culture. Japanese people have higher suicide rates, in part because of their emphasis on honor and stuff. Is that normal? To kill yourself if you dont know whether your child is dead or not?

How is the father’s self deletion easily explained and then you go on to make assumptions (WITHOUT ANY PROOF OR REASON TO BELIEVE) that he might have been on drugs? The father's suicide is easily explained, LAPD showed him the video they have, and probably what they thought happened, to some degree. The grief was overpowering. Plus, he could be abusing drugs or alcohol too. We don't know that.
So some reporting seems to indicate that the phone itself pinged at LAX three days after she was supposed to fly to NYC, but also reports that there is reason to believe that she was physically there, and talked to an American Airlines employee. This isn't 100% confirmed. Makes the whole thing harder to solve.
She spends three days in LA, where? and with who? and with what money? Tries to leave, three days later, and physically makes it to LAX, but then doesn't leave. No money? No ID? But doesn't call anyone for help? That's the key, what makes her not board the flight, and what makes her stay?
I have ridden the metro all over LA, including once from Long Beach to downtown LA, because of Collateral, and that shyt was wild. No place for a young woman after dark.
it sounds like blaming the victim, but in these kinds of cases investigators are already determining if she had a prior drug issue. Her picture doesn't really look like she does. She looks like a pretty normal 30 year old.
At 4am on the 7th floor of a garage? You don't think that's fishy? If I was a detective, I would tell y'all that then do some deep searching. Look at his phone records, incoming, outgoing calls, gps and also cameras. I just find it really hard to believe a grieving dad killing himself in that particular fashion. His phone was probably missing (edit: or too damaged to retrieve evidence) at the scene too so inconclusive evidence ruled it a suicide (my bad, drunk). Sounds like lazy police work tbh.Her father clearly committed suicide out of grief. There's nothing "suspicious" about his death. Meanwhile hundreds of black girls are being tortured in some CACS basement while mfers giving a damn about this bullshytShe crossed the border by foot with her luggage on the 12th. There's no sign of foul play. They are saying she was trying to disconnect from her phone or something.
