Lakers actually get some rest before this starts. They were world beaters until this small stretch of games.

Seems like they run the same D as the Bucks where paint protection is prioritized and they sprint out to contest 3s. Bron doesn't always get out as quick it seems lol.

Ja is gonna have a harder time getting in the paint but if guys like Bane and Kennard can hit shots it'll open things up.

JJJ also needs to stay out of foul trouble because he's needed against AD.

Right now Grizzles in 6.
Grizz in 7 :troll:

My Father in Heaven
in true young dumb nikka fashion they waited to the last minute to realize this.

we'll see if they carry this momentum to game 6. but lakers might close it out who knows
i hope they carry this and win it, i hate to see young talent waste themselves with foolishness

they're just too good to go out like this against a team that quite frankly has seen its best days

this whole time I thought Williams was injured and out, I didn't know he was available to play. wtf happened to dude? last year he looked like would be on track to take over Brooks starting spot by this season

In Game 5, Kennard was a team-high plus-26 in 17 minutes, 39 seconds. Some of those minutes came as the Grizzlies unveiled a small-ball lineup pairing that will likely still be featured whether Kennard plays or not. Jenkins mentioned John Konchar, Tyus Jones, David Roddy and Ziaire Williams among the players who could get playing time in those lineups without Kennard.

Tim McMahon just said he would be surprised if Kennard plays, Grizz are cooked, too many injuries for them
It’ll still be a close game.

There was foreshadowing to this. Lakers down the stretch were fully healthy in must win games vs backups and every game was still tight

Tbh…Bron might be the reason. He doesn’t have the energy to sustain leads or get up n down which this team could do. There’s even times where they look their best when for it’s AD and Reaves, not bron, in pick and roll

When bron dominates the ball that ngga stallin for time/rest. Even when he’s making it it’s not good offense

Not feeling confident in a 38 year old Bron who had to battle the last few weeks just to get the 7th seed, including all those overtime games. I think we are entering the true beginning stages of the end :francis:
