$15.00 an hour is too close to $40,000 a year.

At the end of the day, some people feel you need low wage jobs. $8.00 an hour. Why? To give people the motivation to strive for better. To incentivize people to not stay stagnant.

but it’s all bullshyt.

:why:

Those "real jobs" have been outsourced.

I think I said this a couple years ago on here but Sinema reminds me of when Hollywood puts out a TV show or movie with a diverse cast of interesting characters but the lead if a bland, bisexual, blonde woman that they paint as someone who is oppressed as her minority counterparts. Life really do be imitating art

What was she thinking? Obviously trying to channel some McCain energy but he did that shyt to save peoples health care. This bytch did it to prevent working stiffs from getting paid a living wage? What is wrong with this human? This is an embarrassing incident and a vote that she should make shamefully instead she acts like a drunken moron goes up there prancing around to give a thumbs down with that level of enthusiasm?
She's feeling herself too much. Liked all the attention she gets for being "quirky"

I still can't believe this broad walked on the Senate floor dressed in an anime outfit with a 5k designer bag and curtsy a No vote for a minimum wage increase :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

You're forgetting the part where she walked next to Mitch and tapped him on his shoulders as if to say "watch me shyt on Americans:smugfavre:"

:francis: And now she's playing the sexism victim card

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Bro, what?

Devils advocate:manny:

$15 an hour in 2021 ain’t shyt. It should be $40,000 a year.

But that will never happen. I’m giving reasons why so many people are quick to either

A. Shut down the $15 an hour debate or

B. Justify being ok with it getting bushed.

Not to mention, if your supervisor is making say $16 an hour, and you get bumped from $10 to $15. You gotta bump your supervisor right?

I support a higher minimum wage. This pandemic put service jobs in the spotlight as being essential.

The mean household income in the US is in the $65K range. $15 an hour is like $30K so it would really help get that up.
